I love your sweet family and adore reading these play-by-play dramas and imaging that I'm right there with you in the minivan. (Which we soon will be!!!)

I didn't see the eclipse, but awoke in the night and saw the bright full moon shining down and blasting a shadow of a bare winter tree on the blanket of glistening snow. It was breathtaking!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13142228108347057574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732975.post-37283483183985162872008-02-22T00:39:00.000-05:002008-02-22T00:39:00.000-05:00Gail -Sounds like it's rare for your kids to take ...Gail -

Sounds like it's rare for your kids to take antibiotics. Be sure Daniel gets active ingredient yogurt or sweet acidophplus - sp.? - milk. He'll need to keep replacing the good bacteria for several weeks after he finishes the antibiotic cycle. Otherwise, he may get intractable yeast infections and have digestive problems.

Also, be aware that antibiotics wipe a lot of kids out for as long as several weeks after they finish them. That can be scary so be sure he knows. I'd scale back his activities a bit for a week or two to give him extra rest and extra emotional transition time (illness plus antibiotics can make them emotionally drained and sensitive).

And watch very carefully for a repeat of the ear infection or that it isn't totally gone.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13222054108948143354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732975.post-24307047402344032832008-02-21T12:50:00.000-05:002008-02-21T12:50:00.000-05:00Ugh, sorry Daniel. I'm glad you got quality time with the kids, and I hope Daniel is better soon. Rhett's still battling the flu.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16706134799870107518noreply@blogger.com
